NES cover yellowed, cracked, fell out? This guide will help you get the look of the NES back in order.

Unfortunately, the cover does not come with the imprint "European Edition", but everything works as usual.

Tools: Phillips #2 Screwdriver; Flathead 3/32" or 2.5 mm Screwdriver

Step 1 :: Removing housing

• Remove the six 13.50mm PH2 screws from the base plate.
    • NOTE: The screws are countersunk 40mm into the base plate.
• Now take off the upper part of the housing.

Step 2

• Take the top housing and turn it over.
• Remove the four 7,80mm flathead screws.
• Remove both metal clips.
    • NOTE: If the flap does not stay open properly, you can bend the clips with pliers.

Step 3 :: Cover Flap

• Pull the front black cap off upwards.
• Now lift the flap out at an angle.
• The new flap can now be inserted.

Conclusion
Work the steps in reverse order to reassemble your device.
